in your community.
The Pond Creek community offers many scholarships such as the Farmers Grain Company Scholarship, the First State
Bank Pond Creek Scholarship, the Oklahoma Home and Community Education Club Scholarship, the Pond Creek-
Hunter Alumni Scholarship, the Pond Creek-Hunter Teacher Scholarship, the Pond Creek-Hunter Student Council
Scholarship, the Simone Alexis Schuermann Scholarship (SASS), the Joseph Bradley Miller Memorial Scholarship,
the Brandi Memorial Scholarship, the Elfriede Roberts and Floyd Roberts Scholarship Fund.
Oklahoma Council of Public Affairs has a Speech Contest, Opinion Editorial, or Video Contest every year. Three
winners will be chosen from each contest. First place receives $3,000, second receives $2,000, and third receives
$1,000.
