Our Goal

The purpose of the after-school tutoring program is to give your student(s) the advantage they deserve.
Our program, with the help of AmeriCorps members, is helping your students make sure that they understand what they are supposed to be learning. The Monday through Wednesday, 1 hour sessions, are giving students a place to receive help on homework. It would appreciated it if your student(s) would please follow the required steps listed below.

 

Required Steps for After School Homework Help

Come prepared to learn.
Bring all supplies – Library book, reading textbook,
pencil, erasers, blank paper, and homework.
Snacks will be provided approximately 15 minutes after you begin.
If you finish with your assigned homework, you will be given a practice
assignment or you may be given a game to play with one or more people.
 You are required to stay the entire hour of homework help.

If your student is unable to attend a session please have a note from a parent or guardian excusing them. The consequences of not following the above steps and rules will be a suspension from homework help. The length of suspension will be determined by the AmeriCorps member(s) and Mr. Pearce. Thank You
